K-pop star Moonbin found dead suspected suicide

K-pop star Moonbin passed away today at the age of 25. He was a member of boy band ASTRO. The group’s label, Fantagio, confirmed the news to fans and announced that his family will hold a private funeral. According to TMZ there is no official cause of death and he was reportedly found dead in his Seoul Apartment by South Korean Police after he did not show up for a rehearsal. His death is suspected to be due to suicide. After his death was confirmed, his label twitted that MoonBin has suddenly left us and became a star in the sky. As the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, Moon Bin’s family and label urge the public not to speculate or report any malicious articles or news.

When Moon Bin was young, he went to Seoul to learn dance. Later, he became an actor and model before joining ASTRO. Moon Bin joined ASTRO in 2016 and was also in a sub-group MoonBin and Sanha. He used to live with his family including his sister, MoonSua, who is a member of K-pop group BILLIE. In 2019, he took a break from his career due to health-related issues and made a come back in the following year. He along with five others formed the boy band named ASTRO.
