Recently Nintendo release the trailer of Legends of Zelda: tears of the Kingdom. Legends of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom is an unfathomable sequel to Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, improving upon it in every way possible. Tears of Kingdom edition has a quality of life improvements, a genuinely exciting story, and creative new mechanics that make one think about what is possible. This, Zelda Tears of Kingdom collector’s edition has both revamped the old areas of the breath of the wild and introduced new areas with a huge number of quests to complete, undiscovered mysteries, and delightful distractions to keep the player from reaching his end goal, which they thought would be easy. Nintendo has followed up a triumph with a triumph, they made a world beyond expectations and raised the limit even higher as they are expanding and evolving the existing world.
What would a player want from a sequel to the legend of Zelda’s Breath of the Wild? May be more enemy or a raise in dungeon difficulty and quality etc. but surely not just one as Nintendo’s response to those were casual but confident. It’s obvious that the tears of the kingdom do not revolutionize the already existing game Breath of the Wild but it’s not the sequel that is the same either. This project is bigger, richer, and to some extent more ambitious as features like Vehicle building, weapon crafting, revamped map with a huge amount of depth that keeps the player inside the game. Breath of the Wild is undoubtedly not finished but this project made it look like a first draft.
Legends of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom
The initial structure of the Tears of the Kingdom is familiar as the player starts in a beautifully crafted introductory area in which he learns various new powerful abilities and after obtaining the abilities it dives into the open world with a quest list that splits into four. After entering the open world, the player is free to do whatever he wants without any restriction from the operator. The story and the cutscenes are again gained in a specific spot around the map which shed light on the history of Hyrule in the source of the upheaval, a bombastic event at the start of the game that tears the sky and makes it appear like the ruins are floating in the sky and pepper the surface with new structures and strange abnormalities that rise. Many people think that this isn’t the best storytelling format as there is not much interaction with the central characters while playing the game. This can be overlooked as the story is really good if not the best. To the players of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, its story is more than just a background flavor.
Apart from the story, exploring was the main key point of a breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom has not disappointed its audience with that feature, instead has given more satisfaction than Breath of the Wild. One of the most important things that Zelda has shown to the world is that a blank map is more powerful than a full one, as it is convenient for the player to mark the targets with his legends/ mark. This method is more rewarding than handing over a checklist of waypoints altogether.

The map has been the same, Hyrule, with some exceptions that the terrains have been changed what used to be a volcano and lava-filled land is now a spacious land with no lava or a village which was present in the breath of the wild is now a den of pirates, etc. the player can get a new experience with these changes and visit different places and dungeons and discover various unknown location present in the game. Even if some say that this is not enough as the map is of the same size, Nintendo has kept a surprise that is, in the dept of Chasm, which has a map as big as Hyrule and is very difficult to explore all parts of it but contains many treasures and opportunities. the use of the two maps was very well done and has been praised by many players across the world.
New Features Legends of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom
There are various new features added to the game like weapon crafting and vehicle building. Now weapon crafting can be done easily as it is now possible to develop weapons with any parts of the monster hunted by the player. Now the player can develop any weapon like a fire sword if he has a fire dragon tooth and a sword. Or a shield that blows fire/ ice and players can now even make fun weapons like a fan that blows fire. Another new feature was that of the vehicle building, this feature is proved to very beneficial as this would help the player to move from point A to B without any issues and delays. Earlier they had to walk or ride horses to travel which was very time-consuming now players can easily develop a vehicle and ride it.
LEGEND of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom is the most exceptional game as this has raised the bar even higher than it already was, with its new features and splendid geography it would easily be considered as one of the greatest games of all time.
