A massive metropolis concealed beneath the flora of the Amazon jungle, estimated to be between 3,000 and 1,500 years old, has been discovered in Ecuador. According to the BBC, a network of roadways and canals connected the dwellings and plazas of the ancient city in the Upano Valley. Researchers achieved the discovery by scanning 3D models.
